It’s the summer, and the drive that carries me through the school year to get up waaaaaayyyyyyy before the sun in order to get my time in God’s word has disappeared completely. Last summer I got up with my husband at 3:45 AM as he stumbled out of bed to get ready for work. He kissed me goodbye and headed out the door, as I snuggled into the couch with my Bible, my coffee and twitter.
I miss that time. But now my husband’s work schedule is the opposite, and he is working nights, and since I don’t have to be up early for school, I am staying up to wait for him to come home. Which means that I am waking up to my kids, instead of for my kids.
If this struggle is something that you can relate to, then we encourage you to (quickly) check out HelloMornings. It is a challenge based on something that we really love — accountability– where you are grouped with women and you checkin with each other in the morning to help motivate each other to make the most, to maximize your mornings.
Several of our writers are leading groups! You should sign up. Quickly, because registration is going to be limited once the groups have reached their maximum capacity, and the registration exploded with women that want to reclaim their morning since it opened on Monday!
This useful resource is just one more example of how the Christian community comes together, encouraging one another. It is awesome, isn’t it?
So are you with us? Let us know if you are going to take part!!

That sounds like a nice idea. I do hope that they can still accommodate me, since I am truly interested in joining this one.

Meredith – thanks for the reminder on getting up early for GOD. HE never fails you when you do – I always relish my early time and love how my day goes when I have taken the time with HIM. This is a wonderful thing you are doing! Bless you!
